		<description>I used a drill press with a tilt table to get the angle, clamped down the wood to hold it in place, used a forstner bit for stability, and drilled slooooowly and carefully.</description>

The steps are not hardwood, just pine spattered with construction paint. I skinned them with bamboo for the risers and covered the treads with a modern patterned carpet. Stay tuned for details...</description>
